Experience
I offered private tutoring in English as a foreign language for more than 5 years after which I taught English as a first language and as an additional language for 14 years at private high schools abroad. I have also taught Psychology (GCSE, A level and IB diploma) for over 7 years. I have mother tongue proficiency in English as well as Greek and Afrikaans. I have 21 years of teaching experience mostly with students between the ages of 13 and 18 but have also had experience teaching young children between the ages of 4 and 12, particularly in English as a foreign language. My studies in the field of Psychology have allowed me to also gain extensive experience assisting children with various learning barriers in addition to assistance with study methods. I have also completed various other short courses in education and psychology throughout my career.
